About Us
Janet Ahlberg
Janet’s professional qualifications include a science degree and post graduate teaching qualification from Cambridge University and a museum education diploma from Leicester University. She has extensive experience of writing and editing educational and academic documents tailored to specific audiences. Janet acted as English language consultant for Uppsala University during the 2007 Linnean Tercentenary Celebrations, before co-founding EIE with Morven.
Morven Smith
Morven has an economics degree from Cambridge University, has studied a Masters programme in Organisational Behaviour at Birkbeck College, London and is a qualified TEFL (teaching English as a Foreign Language) teacher. She has completed a training course for Intercultural Trainers recognised by the German Institute for Intercultural Training Quality (DGIKT). Morven has over 20 years of international experience in consultancy, HR and training with both large global organisations and smaller consultancies, acquired over the course of a career that has taken her from the UK to Canada, the US, the Netherlands and then to Sweden, where she co-founded EiE in 2007.
Trina Dobbs
Trina has a Bachelors degree from Indiana University in the USA where she also worked in the mental health field. She has studied the Swedish language extensively and has completed a vocational degree in Uppsala within International Marketing and Sales. Trina speaks both English and Swedish daily and understands the nuances of translation.
